We had an incredible night at the Miami Yacht Club for our May event, Hurricanes and Drones. From cutting-edge science to surf-stoked drone clips, this event brought energy, curiosity, and community together in the best way.
A huge thank you to Scott Stripling from NOAA’s National Hurricane Center for leading a fascinating walkthrough of the tools used to forecast hurricanes. His presentation featured jaw-dropping drone footage from inside the storms, giving us a closer look at the power and complexity of these natural events.
We’re proud to have hosted this event at the Miami Yacht Club, an officially certified Ocean Friendly Restaurant, and we’re grateful to everyone who came out, asked thoughtful questions, and joined the conversation about coastal resilience and science.
