On Wednesday, July 22, Surfrider Miami gathered with the community at The Palms Hotel & Spa for an evening of coastal action, good company, and surf films under the stars. 🎬🌊
The evening began with a Plastic Free Cleanup on the beach between 30th and 31st streets, bringing volunteers together to take direct action for our coastline as the sun set over Miami Beach. From there, the community moved to the poolside Grand Tiki for complimentary drinks and bites, a chapter presentation on Surfrider Miami's initiatives and our partnership with Gray Whale, and a screening of Volcano Island.
The night was a celebration of community, ocean stewardship, and the shared love for our coast that brings Surfrider Miami together year after year. Whether volunteers were picking up trash on the beach or watching the waves come to life on screen, every moment of the evening reflected our commitment to protecting what we love.
