
Surfrider Miami kicked off Earth Month in the best way by joining the 1 Hotel South Beach Sustainability Showcase. We were excited to share our Ocean Friendly Restaurant (OFR) program with dozens of Miamians and spark important conversations about ocean conservation.
Our hands-on “Ocean Friendly or Not?” game helped guests explore sustainable restaurant practices and showed how even small shifts can make a big impact on protecting our oceans.
A huge thank you to Paula Lombardi, Head of Sustainability at 1 Hotel, for bringing this inspiring event to life. We are also grateful to our dedicated volunteers Melony, Susan, and Jennifer for representing OFR with passion and heart.
Together, we are helping restaurants start or continue their sustainability journey, creating a stronger and healthier future for our oceans.
