Unfortunately, due to the looming threat of thunderstorms, we must announce the cancellation of Saturday's JUNE 15 ISD celebrations. However, we are optimistic about rescheduling the event in October 2024.

The Ocean Needs More Friends

Mark your calendars, the 20th annual #InternationalSurfingDay will be held on June 15th (POSTPONED) this year! Celebrate International Surfing Day and Surfrider’s 40th Anniversary with a fun afternoon on the beach followed by a beachy bash with music & drinks!

Every day, the Surfrider Foundation and our network of volunteer activists work tirelessly to protect our coasts. When International Surfing Day rolls around, we come together and CELEBRATE the waves and beaches we love so much.

Surfing it Up at The Beach

Meet us at the beach on 29th street for an afternoon full of surf and beach fun to celebrate everything related to surfing, paddling and the surfing lifestyle. No matter if you're an avid surfer, a beginner or just love the surf vibe and being on the beach, join us, our volunteers, members, Miami community and our SEAS graduates for an afternoon of fun in the sun and a beach cleanup to celebrate what is so near and dear to all of us. (Waivers will need to be signed for this activity and children under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult or guardian. This part of the event is free of charge.) PLEASE BRING A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE OR CUP!

Beachy Bash at The Miami Beach EDITION

We will continue our celebration at The Miami Beach EDITION's garden and sandbox, with drumming and communal percussion, drinks by The Beach Rose and Estrella Damm, light bites, and community building amongst all of us who love the surfing lifestyle and protecting our ocean, waves and beaches. (For this part of the event we request a $15 donation beforehand and $20 at the door to raise funds for our Chapter)
