On Thursday, August 27, Surfrider Miami gathered with the community at 6th Street Beach for our Sunset Dune Restoration, a hands-on evening of coastal stewardship. 🌾🌊
Volunteers came together as the sun began to set over Miami Beach to remove invasive plants and make space for native species that strengthen our coastline against erosion, flooding, and storm surge. The combination of meaningful conservation work and a beautiful sunset made for one of our most memorable restoration events of the year.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and gave their evening to help protect Miami Beach's dunes. Community-powered action like this is how lasting change happens. 💙
