On Saturday, April 25, Surfrider Miami teamed up with the Beach High Surfrider Club for a hands-on community dune restoration. ๐พ
Volunteers came together to get their hands in the sand, removing invasive plants and making space for native species that help protect our coastline. These efforts play a key role in strengthening dunes, supporting local ecosystems, and improving resilience against erosion and flooding.
Beyond the restoration work, the day was a powerful example of what happens when community comes together with purpose. Students, volunteers, and local supporters worked side by side, showing that real impact starts with collective action.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped restore our dunes. ๐๐
