Surfrider Miami was proud to participate in the Miami Climate Leaders Happy Hour at The Palms Hotel, where local organizations, advocates, and community members gathered to support a more climate-resilient future for Miami.
Throughout the evening, we shared information about two of our key programs—Ocean Friendly Restaurants and the Blue Water Task Force—and connected with guests who are passionate about protecting the coast. We were also excited to recognize Essensia Restaurant at The Palms for its official certification as an Ocean Friendly Restaurant and for its leadership in sustainable dining.
Earth Day reminded us that real change starts with community, and this event was the perfect opportunity to raise a glass for the planet while making connections that will fuel future action.
