Riding the Wave into International Surfing Day
The last few weeks have reminded us of the power of community. From our participation in the weeklong World Ocean Celebration event to our Hurricanes and Drones chapter meetup, plus hands-on activities like dune restorations and water testing demos, Surfrider Miami has been showing up across the destination.
Now, we’re riding that momentum into International Surfing Day on Saturday, June 21. Join us at 35th Street Beach for a beach cleanup, paddle and surf lessons, games like cornhole and frisbee, paddle contests, and a ceremonial paddle-out to honor the ocean. There will be prizes, snacks, and cold drinks. It’s FREE and open to all!
