Surfrider is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches. Surfrider was founded in Malibu, California in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers protecting their beach. The Miami chapter was launched by Wyatt Brown and TC in 1977 to begin pressing the City of Miami Beach to enforce existing litter laws and reverse the trashing of our local beaches. Now Surfrider Foundation maintains over 250,000 supporters, activist & members in over 100 chapters world wide.
